We’re thrilled to announce that Pete Boston has joined Dapth as our new Project Management Lead, bringing over two decades of leadership experience across some of Australia and the UK’s top creative and digital agencies. His appointment marks an exciting moment for Dapth as we continue to grow our capabilities and deliver innovative solutions to our clients.

Pete’s career spans a wide array of disciplines, including strategy, user experience, design, and development. Most recently, he spent close to ten years at The Brand Agency, where he led a diverse portfolio of digital projects for major clients. Among his many achievements, one project stands out: overseeing the development and ongoing evolution of the MSWA Mega Home Lottery website, which generates millions of dollars to support MSWA’s extensive research and support initiatives. When it comes to joining Dapth, Pete was immediately drawn to the company’s momentum and forward-thinking approach.

"My initial impression of Dapth was that of a fast-moving company positioning itself for significant success, and joining the team has completely validated that impression," he says. "I’m genuinely impressed by Dapth’s ambition and trajectory - it reminds me of the highly successful agencies I worked with in the UK during their critical growth phases."

At Dapth, Pete will lead the Project Management team, focusing on refining delivery processes, ensuring transparency, and building confidence across every stage of a project. His philosophy is grounded in the belief that clear communication and proactive risk management are essential to building trust.

"Transparency is one of the most important factors when establishing credibility as a Project Manager," Pete explains. "Consistently assessing risks and communicating clearly with stakeholders builds trust and confidence throughout the project lifecycle. It’s not just about completing tasks - it’s about creating an environment where clients and teams feel confident in what’s being delivered."

Dapth Founder and Director Phil Allen highlights Pete’s appointment as a strategic step for the company.

Leadership with Heart, Drive, and a Global Perspective

Pete’s experience is complemented by a personal passion for fostering team growth and mentoring. He has worked with teams of varying sizes and across different cultures, giving him a broad perspective on leadership and collaboration. His approach emphasises empowering teams to take ownership of their work, while providing the guidance and support necessary to achieve ambitious goals.

Outside of work, Pete is a keen runner and cricketer. He notably coached his son’s team to a Grand Final win in 2024, highlighting his leadership skills beyond the office. Pete has lived in three countries; South Africa, the UK, and now Australia, which has given him a unique perspective on global work cultures. A lover of music, he has a background in playing the cello and double bass, demonstrating his dedication to both discipline and creativity.

When asked what kind of projects excite him most, Pete’s answer comes easily:

"Anything that helps make a difference in people’s lives, ideally through sport and technology. If there’s cricket involved, even better."

Pete’s vision aligns closely with Dapth’s mission: to deliver digital solutions that not only meet client objectives but also create meaningful outcomes for the people and communities who use them. His focus on clarity, structure, and people-first project management is already shaping the way Dapth approaches delivery, ensuring that both clients and team members experience projects that are well-managed, efficient, and impactful.
